Sales Assistance at Cosas United Fair

I have been given the opportunity to work at a Cosas United Fair at Nu Sentral (KL Sentral ) for 12 days, starting from 24th of March to 4th April 2016. This must be one of the most fun, equally challenging work for me. In this fair, we sold luggages, winter assesories, jackets, backpacks, laptop bags, brands from Itali like Roncato, Modo. Others brands are Samsonite, Kamiliant, American Tourister, Ragdoll, Rofina Swiss.

Reach there on the first day, was not really confident, but the first guy that approach me was Hau San, made me feel ok, was welcome. I was placed under my leader Coco, mind you my first experience with her was not great, but good enough, she is the one who tour me around, introducing me to all kind of bags, their brand, warranty and feature, I was later asked to explore on my own, to hear from those who had came in 2 days earlier.

My 12 days actually passed in a breeze, I did my best, okie I did hea here and there but I will try to get at least 1K per day, some kind of a result to show the person in charge, the boss and also my leader that I AM doing something at least. And I actually manage to do that almost everyday, the least will be above 900. So, thank God for that.

Everyday I sat the KTM from Kajang to KL Sentral, used touch n go so its a bit cheaper, one day RM7.60 . Travelling itself already took 40min per trip, so I guess after this I wont be applying for jobs in KL already. As I only start work at 10AM , there was no crowd so I get a sit most of the time, both going and coming back.

Working here have taught me so much, literally! For most of you out there, I am kinda an introvet, but can be a little bit louder to those who I am close to with. But I am ok when talking to strangers, I didnt need to feel scare at all, its like a normal communication. I  learned to speak out, not looking down or despise others, I actually have customers who wore slumpy cloths yet bough luggages that are way expensive. Even security guards do have the money to get branded items, so yeah, never judge a book by its cover.

I work 8 full days and 4 half days, which is perfect! Lunch and Dinner settle in the mall or outside of the mall. Almost all the promoter will visit this chinese hawker restaurant, (forgotten whats the name ), its famous for their Chicken Rice, however they only open for lunch. For the whole duration there, I had tried Chicken Rice, Char Siew Chicken rice, sarawak mee, leaf rice to name a few. Prices ranges from RM6-RM8 . Its actually ok in a busy KL area. Did not snap my foods pictures. Regretting now!!! haha

Here are some pictures for you eyes.

One of the highest perks working here is definately meeting new people, making new friends, doing silly stuff. Let me go though one by one.

Fatehah- Funny character, fun person

James- The one that work 6 days only , celebrated his birthday

Back to that, I actually go free stuff during the whole duration there working. Everyone of us got a free boost juice due to some reason. It has been so damn long since I had one, so it was great!

Then chillnchill under boat noodle decided to give free drinks as they just open a new one over at Nu Sentral.  Early in the morning, two pretty girls came by and give us a broucher paper and ask us to go them it for free at 3PM. Went there,  waited in line and got to know that the person at the cashier do not even know the existence of this paper ( saw she was flipping and asking around whats the paper for ) because according to the paper, there are 4 choices, but the person before us requested one of the four but they said they only serve 2 type. to cut the story short, we got our free thai ice green tea and a free T shirt. So good right!! But wait, the thai ice green tea that they give is 80% ice, so yeah, thank you ChillnChill. Next time, if you guys are giving free drinks, please be a bit sincere. But I still will be back for more, cause their Thai Ice green tea is delicious!!!!

We celebrated birthdays too.
Yi Kang and Bobby's bithday

James's birthday

After Wrap Up, was not in the pic because I went back early, didnt get to stay any longer as the latest KTM to Kajang is at 11.30pm.

Thank God for giving me this experience, I did not fall sick the entire period. I had fun. I earn $$$. I made new friends. Thankful for this one of a kind of experience. Working with young people is so much fun!

Thanks for reading. Hope you guys enjoy it!
