It's been almost 3 weeks since my plane landed in Juanda Airport in Surabaya.
It took me almost 4 days to get used to the local dormitory where I will be staying for the 1 semester. I still get heart attach when sitting in the cars while on the road's as the traffic is crazy, I felt that I will just die anytime.
Thank God for Sakinah, Giant, Indomart, Alphamart locating near my uni. It's so convenient to get everything from fruit to grocery. Sakinah, the one small mini mart that we went grocery shopping on the first day we arrive.
But things has been good so far. The people are friendly. The culture is a bit more open over here . And best of all I only have 3 days of classes. Which means I will be having more time to travel and explore Surabaya.
Was suppose to get the fan from my senior's friend on Monday, but I just could not bare with the heat and mosquitoes even for another day , so I decided to buy a new one.
Been visiting Galaxy Mall and also Tunjungan PLAZA with my batch mate. Attended the church at Galaxy Plaza too. Its so convenient that Galaxy Plaza is located near ITS, I only paid IDR5000 per trip to the mall.

We even watch movies at the cinema at Galaxy Mall. Their Cinemas are called 21, with their signature XXI .
If I am not mistaken, it was the second week at ITS celebrated their one month long term anniversary. Dies natalis ke 58. We international students participated in the parade.
Last weekend, the IO, international office also organized a two days tour around Surabaya, where we visited some of the famous landmarks in Surabaya. We went to the Famous tugu, the cigarette museum, the old bank, pantai kenjeran temple. It was fun, and most importantly, its free.
Food have been ok so far. But I definately miss my roti canai and nasi lemak. Missing my family and my pet dog jane.
And actually missing my classmates too.
