Hi Guys , so I was invited by CoolBlog to go to their Grand Opening Outlet at Melawati Mall, it is their largest store yet to date and this is exciting news! I am so lucky to be among the first to witness this milestone in an exclusive "blogger only" event! Yes!
Woke up at 8am as I have to depart earlier as its my first time going to Melawati Mall and its super far from Kajang. Took MRT until Bukit Bintang Station, then took Grab (I have RM10 promo code ) to Melawati Mall. I reached there at 10.30am, just in time for registration.
Oh and balloons are a must to make the Coolblog outlet even cooler than before. Got my goodie bag, containing some details about Coolblog, a bottle and voucher.
For starters, they serve us a simple chocolate ice drink from coolblog. Refreshing start to a great day ahead!

What I really like about their outlet is the pictures and design that was on the wall and the counter, so Malaysia-yish and just a small info, Coolblog was founded in Malaysia too.
This new 973 square feet dine-in concept is more of a modern and giving customer experience a more urbanised feel to customer. Come and dine -in at their outlet as their sleek furniture and interior design will surely make you feel at home.

Adding something sweet to the topping, Coolblog is located just beside Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) in Melawati Mall , Level 5 , that will definately have constant crowd and people walking by their outlet, Coolblog will surely be noticed by even more people . And who knows, some might just sneak in some awesome Coolblog drinks into the cinemas. Hahaha

The event started with non other than the CEO of Coolblog Apps Sdn Bhd himself, Mr Keith Loh gave his talk and introduce us bloggers to coolblog, letting us know how much achievement that Coolblog has achieve over the years, their vision, purpose and so on.
Coolblog mainly consists of ice blended and smoothies based beverages. Coolblog first started out in Mlalaysia with over 25 flavours of beverages and desserts with over, not 100, not 200 but 300 product variants. And up to date, they have over 500 outlet, both in local and international market. Their mission is to provide quality products and services to customers from all walks of life.
They have achieve so many milestones since 2008 with their 1st outlet opened at Sutera Mall, Johor , they were awarded 2012 100th Outstanding SME by Golden Bull, SME Rising STAR 2012 by SME Corp, Best Booth for HALFEST 2012 in year 2012 , Awarded Best Pavillion for HALFEST 2013, Awarded Best Special Design Booth for FIM (Franchise International Malaysia, June'14 , just to name a few of them.
They even launched Rasa-Rasa Malaysia Series in 2017 and finally this year , in 2018, Coolblog opened their first ever largest store in Malaysia at Melawati Mall . It takes years and years to perfect their branding, and we can see that they are indeed improving and making Malaysia so proud.
After the speech, its the Blogger Activities session. For starters, Karmini gave us 10 minutes , we bloggers will need to walk to the front and take a look at all the different ingredients, with their names on each container, and then we are suppose to come out with out own version of CoolBlog!
5 bloggers who comes out with the most creative result will be moving to the next round. Continue read if you want to know if I make it or not.
My creative juices starts to work and then I came out with the idea to create a drink related to the Beach, choosing ingredient colours that are related to the water, sand, beach.

And guess what??!! I was choosen as one of the finalist. I am so so excited. CEO Keith was the one that choose the finalist. I thought I have won something COOL . And then the MC said that for phase 2, we will need to create the drink. Alright, that will be hard cause I just randomly wrote the recipe based on my guts.
Did not get to take the pictures as I was inside the Coolblog Kitchen, ok , honestly, its really fun. For a guy who never walks into the kitchen to do any cooking or what else, its really fun getting the chance to recreate my own recipe, even if it tasted bad, its really fun, I enjoy the process. Thankfully, all finalist were guided by 1 Coolblog stuff, guiding us on our way to recreate our dream COOLBLOG or else I think they might need to do some serious clean up later . Haha

Introducing COOL BLUE, the latest drink available only at COOLBLOG MELAWATI MALL.
Cool Blue consists of Blue Coral and Vanilla Ice Cream and also Blueberry Syrup, the combination is just perfect. Pearl is also used in the drink. What I like about the drink is that is is really refreshing to my taste buds, its not overly sugary or sweet, and with Vanilla ice cream as the topping its just perfect , for me, the ice cream acts as a stabilizer for the whole drink. The pearl is so gummy and yummy, its so round and it feels nice to have something to chew while drinking my favourite drink. But as someone who does not really like pearls, maybe next time I will request for lesser pearls. You can request them to reduce pearls if want too. I am sure they are steady to fulfill your request. The aftertaste of this drink is your tummy will be satisfy. Cool Blue is really marvelous, you have to try it yourself. It is priced at RM6.90 only.
And guess what? I actually Won! I cannot believe the MC Karmini announce my name as the grand prize winner. Did my ''Beauty Blue Beach'' really tasted that good? I hope so. So I went up to claim my prize, took more pictures , and Coolblog even prepare the same version of my ''Beauty Blue Beach'' for everyone to try. Its just unbelievable and I am so speechless.
